About

As a New Hampshire native I have spent many hours enjoying all the beauty and natural wonders New Hampshire has to offer.  Walking in the woods or at the water’s edge is the best place to find inner peace. New Hampshire’s beauty changes with the seasons and each highlights the wonders of nature in a totally different way.

My husband and I love to travel to places off the beaten path.  We are drawn to seaports, mountains and quaint little towns.  As we begin to think about our retirement years, our hope is to visit a wide variety of national and state parks throughout the United States.  Our country has so much to offer with its very diverse landscapes.

I am drawn to the sky watching the sun, clouds, fog and precipitation.  Mother Nature provides a unique back drop for every scenic photograph with the ever-changing sky.  Like a fingerprint, no two photographs of the sky are ever the same.  Everything in nature is constantly changing which only adds to its wonder.

As a lover of nature, I enjoy the dots of color and wonderful fragrances in the landscape provided by all the flowers that grow both in the wild and in gardens.  Like the flowers, animals add movement and sound to the world.  The call of a loon or a scurrying chipmunk only enhances my enjoyment of the natural world.

Not all beauty is found in nature.  Architectural elements and material items can have a beauty all their own.  Beauty like this can appear in the strangest places and often without warning.  The best way to see beauty is to allow yourself to be open to the experience.

“I prefer photographing the natural world. Nature is healing and it places no expectations, demands or judgements. Just pure beauty as it was intended. With my photography, I can continue to Heal Through the Lens.”

Agony | Acceptance | Ascension

Being creative gives me a chance to explore my feelings. I have always been the happiest looking at life through the camera lens. Focusing on a small snapshot of the world around me instead of trying to analyze the “big” picture makes my life more manageable. Most days the “big” picture scares me and I find a sense of peace when I focus on just what is inside my camera’s small view. With my camera, I can choose to see exactly what I want to see and block out the rest.
